Many of us are becoming more aware of the social and environmental aspects of the production of goods when buying a new t-shirt, a piece of fruit or a new mobile phone. However, just because we are feeling more responsible, doesn’t mean it’s always easy to make decisions in line with this knowledge.
How can we help consumers in ensuring their products aren’t contributing to forms of exploitation and/or unsustainable production processes?
How can producers restructure modern supply chains and production processes to make products sustainable, affordable and attractive to consumers all at once?
