Moderation Policy

Thank you for taking your time to read this moderation policy. When sharing your ideas please remember the following simple rules.

Be polite and respect others! We want our website to be a space where everyone, regardless of country or political affiliation, feels comfortable in engaging and participating. To ensure this, we cannot accept comments that are either offensive in themselves or clearly offensive to other people.

Don't pretend to be someone you are not! You should not share ideas and comments and attribute them to someone else. Impersonating someone is very serious and can have consequences.

Don’t discriminate! We ask you to avoid obscenities and other insulting language (no racism, xenophobia, calls to violence, discrimination based on religion, ethnic origin, gender, age, language or provocative messages…). Out of respect for World War II victims and veterans, we will also remove comments referring to Nazis, the Soviet Union, Hitler or Stalin.

Only facts! Although we welcome different points of views, we will not tolerate false or misleading information presented as news which could be harmful if people were to believe them. We will not publish any comments promoting conspiracy theories either. Comments that are defamatory, unlawful or include copyright infringements are also against our rules and will not be published.

Stick to the topic and, please, no self-promotion! We encourage you to post ideas that stick to the subject and would appreciate you refraining from posting advertisement or self-promotional comments (for your businesses, blogs or websites, etc…). This also applies to political campaigning on a national level. Spam and other off-topic items will not be published.

No personal data needed! Please refrain from providing personal data as it is not necessary for the purpose of sharing your ideas or comments. Thus if provided it will be removed/not published.
